Foundational Math

Help with number sense, fractions, decimals, integers, equations, and other skills students need for current math.

Small-Group Workshops

Small-group math workshops are for public, private, and homeschool students who benefit from clear instruction, guided practice, and a calm learning setting. Workshops are best for students who need focused support with foundational math, Pre-Algebra readiness, Algebra 1 skills, or specific math trouble spots. Groups are kept small so students have time to ask questions, practice, and get help without feeling rushed.

Small-group workshops are held in Spring Branch.  Online workshops may be offered in the future.

Pre-Algebra Readiness

Focused support for students who need more confidence with the skills that come before Algebra 1.

Algebra 1 Support

Guided practice with variables, equations, graphing, word problems, and organizing multi-step work.

Skills We May Work On

Small-group sessions may focus on the skills students need most, depending on the level of the group.

Number Sense & Operations

Whole numbers, place value, integers, order of operations, and basic problem-solving.

Equations & Variables

Fractions, Decimals & Percents

Building comfort with unknowns, expressions, equations, and the habits needed for algebra.

Careful practice with common trouble spots that affect upper elementary math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1.

Word Problems & Multi-Step Work
