Fractions are essential for success in higher-level mathematics. Fraction Foundations is a six-week, live online workshop designed to help students strengthen their understanding, develop accuracy, and become more confident working with fractions.

Duration: 12 one-hour sessions over six instructional weeks
Class Size: Minimum 2, maximum 4 students
Tuition: $420 per student for all 12 sessions

Who Is This Workshop For?
This workshop is designed for students who need to strengthen their fraction skills as they prepare for Pre-Algebra or Algebra 1.

Students should be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers with reasonable accuracy and independence.

A formal placement test is not required. We'll work with families to determine whether the workshop is a good fit for their student.
What Students Will Need
To participate in this live online workshop, students will need:

A computer, laptop, or iPad capable of running Google Meet

A reliable internet connection with a working camera and microphone

Fraction bars or fraction strips (purchased or printable)

A small whiteboard, dry-erase marker, and eraser

Paper and pencil
Students should have their materials ready at the beginning of each session.
